Once again the weather has interupted our soccer season. We are going to cancel the game against Eel Ground for Monday October 7th and hope to reschedule this game at a later date.Thank you for your partience!
This week is Fire Safety Week. The theme this year is Prevent Kitchen Fires. Representatives from the Miramichi Fire Department will be at the school Tuesday morning. They will be giving two presentations, one to K-2 students and another to Grade 3-5 students.
The Grade 2/3 soccer teams next game will be Monday October 7th at Memorial Baseball Field behind Harkins Middle. The game is against Eel Ground Elementary and will begin at 3:30.
Kindergarten registration will take place at Harkins Elementary from October 15th to 18th for children who will turn 5 by December 31, 2014 and who start school in September 2014. Register your child for Kindergarten this October and receive information and invitations to be part of activities to support your child’s learning.
Due to a scheduling conflict the game against Napan on Thursday September 26th is cancelled. We will try to reschedule at a later date. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The game between the 2/3 Harkins soccer team and Gretna Green has been cancelled. I will be sending a note home later in the week when I have another game scheduled. Thanks
The Harkins Elementary Home and School will have their first meeting of the school year on Wednesday, September 25 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the staff room. We will be making plans for the annual Halloween Party. The Home and School would like to extend an invitation to all former members and of course to all new Harkins parents. We hope to see another strong turnout again this year!
The Grade 2/3 soccer team will play Gretna Green next Monday September 23rd at 3:30. The game will be played at Gretna Green field and all students are asked to bring a water bottle and the proper footwear. Thanks
