The Boys Basketball team will practice every Monday and Wednesday from 3:00 - 4:00 and the Girls Basketball team will practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 -4:00.

Book Launch at Harkins Elementary
Cathy Carnahan, our Community Coordinator is hosting a book signing of her new book, Miramichi & Beyond on November 5 during Bring Your Parent to School Day from 4:00 -8:00 pm.
This is open to the public and especially our parents. There will be refreshments during the book signing. Cathy will donate to the school $3.00 for each book sold at Harkins to improve literacy and spelling.
We will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair next week on Wednesday, November 4th from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Thursday, November 5th
from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Book Fair will take place to Bring your Parent to School Day.
Children 10 and under at Harkins Elementary are expected to receive an HINI booster on Thursday, Nov. 19.
All students, with parental permission, were vaccinated against the HINI virus on Oct. 29.
Harkins Elementary was awarded a S'Cool life grant of $3000 for Drama. The school plans to develop the drama program with the money.
