Due to the number of parents and children who have the flu, the Home and School meeting tonight is cancelled. Instead, it will take place on Monday, October 26 at 6:30 in the staff room.
The season ending soccer jamboree will be held at Croft Field October the 20th beginning at 3:00. Students must be picked up from school and signed out early in order to make the game.
The Home and School will once again be offering popcorn as a recess treat on Wednesdays. Orders will be taken on Tuedays at 50 cents per bag. The popcorn will be delivered to the classrooms in time for recess on Wednesdays.
This is a reminder of our fundraising campaign. This is the only one the school will be doing this year. Students have taken home the catalogue, which has a large variety of items for Christmas. The deadline for orders is next Friday, October 16. This will give the company time to get items delivered before the Christmas Break. There are lots of prizes for students who bring in orders. We want to thank you for your support once again this year.
Students from kindergarten and grade 1 who originally had planned a trip to the apple orchard last week will now go on Monday, October 5. Students will leave in the morning and return to school during noon hour.
The 4/5 Soccer Game that was scheduled to be at Miramichi Rural today (Thursday Oct.1st) has been cancelled. Our next game is at Croft field on Tuesday at 3:30. Thanks
The 2/3 soccer club will have a game against Croft on Monday October 5th at 3:20 at Croft school. Students must have an arranged drive to and from the Croft soccer field. Any student who is in the after school program must have a drive to this game as well. The game will last for approximately one hour. Please note that the scheduled 2/3 soccer that was to be held on Tuesday October 6th is still scheduled for 3:15 at Memorial baseball field and Mr. Swaine will walk after school program students and grade three students to the field as usual.
The Miramichi Volleyball Association is inviting all students in grades 3-5 to come out and learn how to play volleyball this Saturday September the 19th at 9 AM at MVHS Gym! It is sure to be a good time and is a great way to become more active while having fun!
