Movie Day Friday June 8, 2012

Grade 3H sold the most tickets for the redo a room contest! We had the top seller in our class Zach Deon! Zach Hachey came in third place selling tickets. On Friday June 8 our class will enjoy a movie, sundaes and popcorn!! Way to go 3H!

Grade 3 Math Assessments

Starting on Thursday May 24, 2012 grade 3 students will be working on the Grade 3 Provincial Math Assessment. We will be doing the assessment in sections each day. Please be well rested, on time and be ready for Math!

Grandparents pictures and write-ups!!

In grade 3 we are getting ready to create our photo stories for grandparents!  Students need to bring in some pictures to go along with their  information about their grandparents. Mr. O'Toole from district office will be coming soon to help put it all together! This is part of our Social Studies curriculum. Thanks for the cooperation!

Redo a Room Tickets

Roots of Empathy

Thursday, March 29, 2012 Baby Dallas Hamilton is coming to our class for a visit! We can hardly wait see how much he has changed! His Mom is bringing him to our class at 10:30!

Grade PBL Project -Grandparents

Grade 3 will be taking home questions to ask their grandparents about how life was like when they went to school. They will be working on this project in April.  Just answer the questions you wish to, add any interesting stories also.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Science Fair March 20, 2012

Students are working diligently on their Science projects. This week they will be practicing their presentations. They will be working on finding interesting facts and explaining their projects as best they can. They will need to practice their notes at school and home. Thanks for your cooperation!

Science Fair Projects

We have a start on our Science projects! Some students need poster board and letters to get started!! We need to finish our projects soon after the March Break.  Then we will have time to practice presenting them before they are judged!  Thanks for all the cooperation!  Miss Hennessy

Science Fair

This year the Grade 3 students will be participating in the Science Fair for the first time!! They are so excited!    Presently they are researching their chosen topics. We have two weeks to work on it  before the March Break and one week following the break. The School Science Fair is March 20th and the District March 26. If students have access to a computer at home it would be helpful to let them do some research. Thanks for your cooperation!!

Valentines Party February 14th, 2012
