Our class is beginning to read on their own!
How exciting is that?
Please make sure that your child is reading daily.
Please read our newsletter and other handouts
which will be coming home today and Monday.

Report Card time is coming up so students are being assessed on
what has been covered thus far.
Please make sure your child is practicing their sight words
daily.
Students took home Scholastic catalogues for November and
December today to make sure we get the orders back before
Christmas. Please support your child's love of reading by
getting them books for Christmas. When you order
you also support the lassroom because we can get
bonus points to get books and other supplies to help
support learning and make it more fun.

Halloween lunch is Wednesday. The cost is $4.50.
The halloween party Thursday night.
Book orders are due Friday.
Remember to read and practice your sight words daily.
Remember to bring your classroom book back every day
and your library book of Thursdays.

Hi KMC students and parents,
Wow we have a lot going on this week.
Please sign and return permission slip for class trips.
Popcorn orders are taken tomorrow for Wed. popcorn.
If you would like to have pizza on Friday bring in $3 by
Thursday.
The Terry Fox Run is this Friday morning at 10:30.
Please bring in your Pledge $ by Friday.
School pictures were sent home today.
School fundraiser information went home today.
Remember to read tonight and every night!
Homework sheets are due on Friday.

We had a great day today!
We had popcorn.
We learned new songs with Miss Lawlor's class.
And we made cool patterns in math.
Remember that tomorrow is picture day.
So wear your favorite cloths.
September book orders will be sent next week,
so look through the catalogue and get all your favorites.
The bigger the order the more books we can also
get for the class!

This is a great Website for helping with literacy development.

Today was an exciting day!
We are doing homework for the first time.
Or as I like to call it "Home Fun" because learning is FUN!
Students who paid for their agendas took them home today
with their homework in them.
We are voracious readers so we read every night.
Students took home a two sided worksheet which is due on
Friday.
Popcorn will be sold tomorrow for 50 cents.
