This week one of our leaders was this bright young girl. She has been a super helper in Mrs. Russell's class. She is very kind to all her classmates and she is loving all of the zoo phonics fun! Keep up the fantastic work!!!! This kind young girl was a super leader of the day. She loves to make patterns and listen to stories! She always shows good listening and will always help her classmates. She did a awesome job on all her Leader of the Day duties. Thanks for being so awesome!!! Look at this super Leader of the Day! She LOVED all of the Leader of the Day duties! She is a very kind young girl who loves to learn and play! Way to Go!!!! Here is a very kind young boy who loves to help out Mrs. Russell. He is always following the I-Care rules. He loves to play and learn. Way to be a super Leader of the Day!!! Wow!!! This was one awesome Leader! She did a fantastic job with all of her duties. She LOVES school and does her best with everything. Thanks for being and awesome leader!

This leader of the day is a super hepler around the classroom. She always helps clean up her mess and helps her classmates. Thanks for being so awesome! Here is one special little girl. She is doing a fantastic job during Daily 5 and is a very kind young girl. Thanks for being a super Leader of the Day! Wow!!! It may only be her second week of school but she sure knows how to be a fantastic leader! She is a very kind young girl to all her classmates and a super helper for Mrs. Russell. Thank you so much :) Meet our Leader of the day!!! She is one smart cookie!!! She did a fantastic job with all of her leader duties. She loves school and loves to help her friends. This was one of our "leader of the day" this week. He loves to help in the classroom and he loves Phys. Ed with Mr. Flynn. Thanks for being an awesome young boy! Here is our Leader of the day on September 14. Last week he demonstrated what a hard worker in grade one looks like. He loves to learn new things. You are a great assest to our class ! Here is our "Leader of the Day" She is a very kind young girl who loves to help everyone in our class. She was a super helper showing the new boys and girls in our class where to go and how to be a good friend. I am so excited to have you in our class!

Wow! I can not believe the first week of school is over. I want to welcome all of the returning students to Grade 1 and to the new students in Kindergarten. It was a great first week of school and I am looking forward to this school year!

hosting a school-wide Hot Chocolate House event on January 27, 2014 where all
students will have an opportunity to read their stories to their peers (in a
multi-age mix of students). Team of teachers will work together to listen to
and enjoy the delicious tales. To wrap up our literacy event a small collection
of stories will be presented to the PUBLIC at 12:30 pm in the HES Breakfast
Room. So let's break the cold snap with soothing tales of little lives and the
warmth of a cup of chocolate to drink!"
