A Maple tree and an Alberta Spruce tree were planted in the playground on Monday, June 17, 2013 by the students of Grade One Corney. The children were very instrumental in the planting and watering of the trees and made promises to protect them and take care of them when they come to the playground...

We had a great day at the zoo. Monkeys, reptiles, deer, otters, cougars, lions, and bears were just of the few animals we got to meet and pet!! Our presentation included getting a closer look at a turtle, snake and gecko - they were very nervous and so were we! The rain did not damped our spirits...

A great demonstration for the children by Micheal Power's dad who is a very talented and dedicated professional who is responsible to transport patients to the hospital and save lives!!! Wow! A real-life hero and an excellent speaker! WE LOVED IT!
