Weekly Message for November 28th-December 2nd

Posted: November 27, 2011

The countdown to Christmas is on, and I can already feel the excitement building in the class.  I am going to try and channel this energy into some great work!  Since it is a short week, we have lots of work to get done in four days! Monday will be as routine as always.  We have started our new unit on clothing and it is a refreshing change in the class.  I am confident that we have our family mastered.  I will also be sending home the appointment times of the Parent-Teacher interviews with the students on Monday at the end of the day, so check your students HEART book for these slips. Tuesday report cards go home at the end of the day.  We will be starting a new book on Tuesday, stay tuned to hear about this in the weekly classroom video of "Heartland Happenings" written by my secretaries. Hump Day, I will be at meetings at the District Office for the Intensive French program, so the supply teacher will have lots of work for them to do. Thursday is the final day of the week and as well, our special "Welcome Christmas Hat Day" in support of our local food banks.  Please wear a festive hat and bring in a food bank article.  We also will be having Mr.  Duplessie in to help us with our Audocity project.  I am excited to see the finished product. Remember no school on Friday.  I look forward to seeing all of the parents this week.  See you soon!
