January 19,2012           Grade 4D Class News From the fourth grade classroom of Mrs. Donovan   Highlights This week has been another amazing week here in grade 4D!  We won the Mango challenge for November and Ms. Sargent delivered our prize.  She brought yogurt tubes for the whole class!  Nutritious and delicious!  We have been working very hard in Writing Workshop with Mrs. Bruce.  She has tons of great stories to share and is teaching us the special formula for writing marvelous stories of our own.  We have also been collecting Pennies for Polio.  Way to go grade 4D!                                                                                         ~Mrs. Donovan   M Tu W Th Fr Christmas Vacation               Spelling Test Pennies for Polio   Spelling Test         Spelling Test         Spelling Test Keep it fun, for everyone. More news   Math- We are learning about Area in a shape.  Remember that congruent means the same size and shape. Literacy- Josh and Jonathan are doing the Diary.  We are learning about similes and metaphors.     Science – We are making commercials in Science.  They are about reflection. Gym- We are using the parachute and every week we do a 5 minute run.
