After lengthy discussions regarding an end of year celebration for the Grade 5 students, we have come up with two possible options. The first option is to have the regular dinner (banquet) in the cafeteria. The second is to take students on a full day field trip. This trip would involve going to Neguac to have dinner at Chez Raymond. Students would have an opportunity to practice skills learned during their Intensive French by reading the menu and ordering in French. They would receive their certificates, gift, and have a cake prepared in their honour. Prior to the dinner, students would either go ten-pin bowling in Neguac or go to some other activity in the Neguac-Tracadie area. In an effort to give students a voice in their own celebration, we are giving them the opportunity to vote on the option they prefer. This vote will take place  Friday, May 12.
