WEEK #4: Food Safety at Lunch TimeTips for
Keeping Lunch Safe:1. Always wash hands before
preparing or eating lunch. This is the one of best ways to prevent food
spoilage and contamination.2. Keep cold foods cold. 3. Keep hot foods hot. 4. Clean all lunch boxes, thermal
bags, plastic utensils and containers in hot soapy water. DO NOT re-use
plastic wrapping and bags.
5. Wash all fruits and veggies under
cold running water.
