Registration for the 2015-16 school year will take place at Harkins Elementary October 14-17, for children who will turn 5 years old by December 31, 2015. You will need your child's Birth Certificate, Medicare Card, and Immunization Record when registering. Be sure to register your child in October and you will receive information and invitations to be part of activities to support your child's learning.
Wednesday, September 24th will be our annual Terry Fox Walk. In an effort to raise funds, Miss Barrieau has agreed to allow a student to cut her hair, provided the school raises $3,000. Anyone who wishes to donate to the Terry Fox Foundation, may drop into the school at anytime.
Due to the poor field conditions and unpredictable forecast soccer for the 2-3 students will be cancelled today. All students who were to stay will go home on their regular bus run or go home as they usually would. I am hoping to add another date to the soccer schedule due to this cancellation. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please remember that students participating in the afterschool soccer program for grades 2-3 that the grade 2 stdeutns must have a drive to their games as they are dismissed at two. I will walk the grade three students over to the field at three and meet the grade two students and their parents. Game will be approximately fifty minutes in length.

School supplies lists were sent home in June. They are also are available in the Document section of this website. Please note, some parents of grade 1 and 2 students have opted to pay a supplies fee. For those of you who did not use this option, the lists for those grades are also included.
