We had a great first week of grade one!  The students are quickly getting back into the routine of school and everyone is doing well.  As you know I am teaching the class in the morning and Mrs. Pinder is teaching in the afternoon.  Please feel contact either of us if you have a question or concern.  Homework will be sent home on Mondays and we ask that you return it, completed, on Fridays.  There will be two books or their poetry journal sent home each week as well.  Please have your children read these to you.  I would also like to have an extra set of clothing for each child.  This would include pants, top, socks and underwear.  Kids often get wet on the playground or may spill something so it is much easier to have something at school that they can change into.
