Harkins has dedicated Friday, November 18 as Backwards Day in support of local food banks. Friday, November 18th, has also been designated as wear blue day to support "Bully Awareness Month". We as a school, city, province, country and world need to set examples of how we can work together in harmony. A simple act of wearing an article of blue clothing , shows that we all want to help our children learn how to receive/give that positive attention that is craved by us all.
Harkins staff looks forward to seeing the waves of blue clothing worn backwards on Friday.
