Our class went out into a nearby field to collect the materials for a cricket habbitat.  First, students had to draw a model of a habitat.  Then, our class brainstormed to essential elements of a cricket's habitat.  Next, they collected the materials.  And finally, students created a habitat fit for a cricket!
