February 3, 2012           Grade 4D Class News From the fourth grade classroom of Mrs. Donovan ~ Emily and Emma   Highlights This week was another busy week!  On Wednesday we had a snow day!  We also finished up Unit 4 in Math and began Unit 5 on Fractions and Decimals.  Although this is a new concept for many students, everyone realized that we use fractions all the time in real life.  Fractions are used in money, time, and even when we eat dinner.  As well, students have been reading a lot this week.  Remember, you only need to fill out one log – just the Timberwolf Challenge Log. Next week we will begin French Immersion with Mrs. Hale!                   ~Mrs. Donovan   M Tu W Th Fr     1 2 3 6 7 8 9 Spelling Test 13 Valentine’s Day/ Jonathan 15 16 Spelling Test Shania 21 22 23 Spelling Test 27 28 29   Spelling Test “I want that one!” Reading should be a choice, not a chore.
