The Atlantic salmon can travel thousands of kilometers at sea before returning to the Miramichi. Salmon that return to the river to spawn can go months without eating, and will stay in the river all winter long. The MSA would like to encourage everyone to enjoy the sport of salmon fishing, and to help protect the amazing Atlantic salmon!
