Good day to you all.  What a great time we had at the Heritage Fair on Friday.  It was very educational, a real learning experience for all.  All of the children enjoyed their day, even though it was a bit cold. Today we read the story, " My Teacher Is a Vampire" by Mercer Mayer.  It is a fun book that demonstraits how the children let their imaginations get away and how they realized their mistakes.  Ask your child how the story ended.  It was a surprise!! We have been practising daily counting by 1's, 2's to 25, 5's to 50 and 10's to 100.  Please continue to do this each night. Halloween is fast approaching.  We will be reading lots of Halloween stories.  This is always lots of fun.  Yet we always stress the idea of "fun" and that it is all make believe.
